Difference Between Slug and Pellet Magazines:

Pellet Magazines: These are designed specifically for standard pellets. They typically feature a lower spring tension to securely hold and feed the projectiles. While slugs can be used in pellet magazines, the feeding probe may cause the slugs to tilt as they enter the rifle barrel due to their slightly smaller diameter compared to pellets. This could potentially affect the proper feeding of the slugs.

Slug Magazines: These magazines are specifically tailored for heavier, longer slugs. They have a higher spring tension to accommodate the increased weight and size of the slugs. Pellets cannot be used in slug magazines, as the diameter of the holes is designed solely for slugs, ensuring better accuracy and reliable feeding when using these projectiles.
